Let’s be honest, I’m a bit of a golf addict. Despite living in Minneapolis — a place where the golf season is only about six months long — I think about golf on pretty much a daily basis.

When I worked at the Minneapolis Star Tribune, there was once a headline on a Patrick Reusse column that read: “Junk the rest, only golf matters.”

I cut out that headline, taped it to my computer monitor and looked at it every day. Hence the blog name.

I have more of a personal blog here. But on the verge of another Minnesota golf season, I decided that those readers probably don’t want to read me breaking down driver choices or about the latest pair of golf shoes that I totally covet.

What will you find here: Some golf course pictures and reviews, my thoughts on clubs and other golf gear, stories of me on the course, probably even some fantasy golf stories. Basically it will be all golf all the time.
