In my latest post for the 2nd Swing blog, I write about Rick Shefchik’s book: From Fields to Fairways.

Rick and I spoke about the reception the book has received, what surprised him in doing the reporting and research for the book, where he got the photos and why there was so little golf course construction in Minnesota between about 1930 and 1960.

Also, Rick is doing a reading/signing event this Saturday at 2 p.m. at Valley Bookseller in Stillwater.
