Spent the afternoon playing the home course with a couple of friends/blog readers. Let’s just call it less than ideal conditions.

It wasn’t yet 40 degrees when I left the house. And the wind was blowing between 20 and 30 miles per hour. It was one of those days and one of those kind of winds where it felt like about five holes played downwind and the other 13 played into the wind.

Because of that, I wore the following:

– Under Armour Cold Gear base layer

– Mizuno breath thermal mock turtleneck

– Golf shirt

– Under Armour fleece vest

– 1/2 zip sweatshirt

– Footjoy short sleeve windbreaker/rain jacket

– Long underwear under my khakis

– Stocking cap.

The good news is I didn’t really get cold and it turned out to be better than I initially feared

When it was over, I rechecked my calendar and it still read May 1.

So on May 1 I needed to wear all this?

I don’t usually bitch too much about the weather, but doesn’t this have to change?
